As the sunrises get later, the chance of actually being alone on the beach as it rises lessens.

Standing on the edge of the incoming water I was fascinated by the criss-crossing of the waves.

I positioned the camera low, using the rear screen at an angle to maximise the reflection.

Minutes before the rock-pool was still and undisturbed. I crouched, waiting for the sun to breach the clouds at about 7:40. The tide beat the sun, disturbing my nice still shot.

After last week’s smashing time I’m just waiting on the report from Fuji Repair on whether the lens is recoverable.

I educate by writing a widely read “technical” blog detailing my use of Fuji cameras and other equipment as well as giving talks about Press (and other aspects of) Photography to camera clubs and groups.
