The person may have so many stories from over their lifetime that I really want to listen too, but the key is not to loose concentration on the image, the chat is there in your ears, in your head but it really just becomes a rhythm, a beat for the timing of the shutter.

WOMAD 2026
A few weeks ago I was at the 2026 edition of the WOMAD festival on its lovely new site, Neston Park. This festival has featured in a number of posts here over the years so I thought a quick write up from this year was in order;

Gallery – A week in Cannes
This post is a quick gallery of some of my work from the first week in Cannes (I arrived late, 2 days into the festival), outlining how a day could pan out as photographers criss-cross around Cannes heading to different events. Most days start up on the roof of the Palais for photo-calls with the cast and crew from the films premiered the previous day.
