A trip to the football

I’ve been lost for words lately (something that those who know me well will be very surprised about).

This weekend we took a trip to the local team, Worthing F.C. for a pre-season friendly against Horsham.

I joined the 1000+ fans, just to get a feel of what lower league matches are like (having only ever attended top flight matches. I have been an Arsenal supporter since a very early age, with great childhood memories of standing in the North Bank with my dad).

I carried the X100, pre-set to the 160C recipe (but DR100), with the aim of capturing the pre-season atmosphere. Once back, the jpeg images were edited in lightroom as normal, just cropping and tweaking the levels and adding a vignette.

I’m no sports shoot and they are a mixed bag but I think they get the feel of the afternoon, let me know what you think…

That was good value and a lovely afternoon out

I love the film-like look of the images created by this recipe. As a side note, I have been shooting film a fair bit recently and have started a new Instagram profile if you are interested in following: https://www.instagram.com/edwards_film/ much more to follow on there..
