To “S” or not to “S”

My recent breakage led me to visit my favorite supplier – Fixation for a replacement 56mm mk1 (I like the mk1, it’s cheaper than it’s “WR” replacement and many say that the newer lens, whilst sharper, is slightly slower to focus and has lost that “magic” IQ.

Replace the 56 – good move ( I’m still waiting to find out if the old one can be repaired – thanks DPD).

Have a conversation about X-H2 bodies – bad move (or maybe not)

I have now added a non-S H2 alongside my existing X-H2s, a purchase I was planning but some offers plus a £100 cash back from Fuji pursuaded me to pull the trigger.

I’ve just finished updating the firmware and setting the menus & buttons to my liking – now I’m off to a job where I will see how it performs alongside my existing cameras… Expect details soon
