I have not logged into this place since September last year. Things happen, people pass and then time passes. Sometimes you need to take time for yourself, to focus on the important things in life. The last 4 months have been one of these times.
A few years ago, in Berlin, I was persuaded by another photographer to continue writing this blog (I had taken some time out back then). It seemed appropriate that I should wait till I was here again to start re-writing.

This is the coldest I have experienced this festival. It’s snowing and the temperature is regularly dropping to -2 (with -7 or -10 expected tonight). The city with snow is very unlike London in the snow, it seems to stay crisper longer with less “slush”.
I stayed with this tree for a while, waiting for cars, waiting to create a short light trail (hand held).
All of my “walk around” images are on the X100VI, I keep it in my pocket, pulling it out to make an image. I always missed the MK1 version I had of this camera when I traded it in. This latest model will stay with me for a while.
Anyway, thats enough words for now, here are a few more snowy images shot on the X100VI, I will post from the Red Carpet in the next few days…
