Today I head to London for a 4 day job; The London Soundtrack Festival.
Like most nights before a job such as this, I did not have a great night’s sleep – I guess its down to anticipatory stress.
I’m fortunate that I do a job I love so as many say it’s a good sign; pre-job stress shows I care. I know there are many that get stressed before going to work for the totally opposite reason.
The obvious gallery to do today would be a set of images from last years event. However, I do not want to be influenced by what I shot last year; I like to approach each repeating job as though it is the first time I have shot it (not an easy task). With an event like the Soundtrack Festival, where the events and locations all change year on year, this is easier.
With the above in mind, here is a small gallery that is totally off-piste.
I have not shot a comic-con for 10 years when I shot these images. Back then the camera I was using was a Fujifilm X-T1.
These images were all show at the London Super Comic Convention, ExCel Centre, London in February 2016.
A few were published in the following day’s newspapers. For a bit of fun, guess which (and its not actually my favorite).

Have a great weekend..
J
