Friday and I had a little more time today, I also had left the lights out from the day before as the plan was to build on that. (In case you have not noticed, I decided after the first 2 days to also show the way a portrait can be built in the same location with easy changes to the lighting).

Do you ever have one of those mornings where you are all "fingers and thumbs" (not being able to hold anything). Well this was one of those mornings

Having more time before cooking, I took a little more effort with the lights; An AD200 in a gridded (and softened) small 300mm dish, placed to the left of the camera, way to close to me due to the size of the room set to TTL.

Gosh this camera is unforgiving, especially if you dont have the time to set up the lights.
Challenging myself to reset.
I was recently reading a post by Don Giannatti (someone I have been reading on and off for years). The post extoled the virtues of going back to basics, reseting, giving yourself (as a photographer) some challenges to shoot in a way you are not at the moment.
