Excess Baggage
Most people think photographers have a ”fetish” or love affair with their cameras, they think that we cannot stop buying them. I’m not(quite) In that camp. Every camera (almost) is purchased with a business case. Purchased for a reason. Bags however. Thats a different story. Find me a photographer that not obsessed with finding the best bag. There are no photographers that have not wasted hundreds of pounds on bags that were “almost” perfect.

Using the GFX100RF at Berlinale
A year ago, in Berlin, I wrote a post titled “Have the confidence”. The theme of the piece was “I know this festival. I know the layout. I know what kit I need, but I still brought more”. Well, this year it’s different.
An hour around Potsdammer Platz
The following images were taken around Potsdammer Platz (an area I know well) between two photocalls on the first day. They are essentially straight out of camera (first X100 and then I moved on to the GFX) using a T-Max P3200 Recipe.
