Whereas that Berlin post was 1482 images from 6 days shooting on 3 cameras, this post is 1019 images from 6 hours shooting on 2 cameras.

BAFTAs, FTP and Batteries

It's a very long day. We need to check in for our accreditaion before midday; before "loading" the pen at 1pm. Arrivals on the Red Carpet happened between 2pm and 4:30pm, at which point we transfered to the Winners Press room where we settled until about 8:40pm.

An hour around Potsdammer Platz

The following images were taken around Potsdammer Platz (an area I know well) between two photocalls on the first day. They are essentially straight out of camera (first X100 and then I moved on to the GFX) using a T-Max P3200 Recipe.

Jordan Firstman and Cara Delevingne seen at the Photocall for Club Kid during the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival on Friday 15 May 2026 at Palais des Festivals, Cannes. After a delayed late flight last night (this morning), I'm finally in Cannes, Following MK3D on Monday, I spent Tuesday and Wednesday at the UK Cinema Association Conference, capturing the speakers and the atmosphere before flying to Cannes tonight where I cover the festival. (almost) Finally Mark was joined on stage by Bob Odenkirk for Mark Kermode in 3D on Monday 11 May 2026 at BFI Southbank, London.
