A few years ago, in Berlin, I was persuaded by another photographer to continue writing this blog (I had taken some time out back then). It seemed appropriate that I should wait till I was here again to start re-writing.
Frightfest 2024 Slideshow
Another year, another Frightfest done. (My 15th!!).. Since 2009, I have created a slideshow of images I have created around the festival (not from the media wall but concentrating on the fans and the atmosphere).

We have all seen the image by French photographer Jerome Brouillet of Brazilian surfer Gabriel Medina. It's astonishing. Brilliant. A moment in time that even the TV coverage did not capture.
