AI - Long time readers will not be surprised to learn that I have been investigating various tools, over the years this blog has shown, I think, that I am quite pro-active when it comes to using technology to streamline my workflow so that I can concentrate on what matters to me - making images. Relaxation and Photography: Our Time in Portmeirion

Ai – Analogy Incorrect
I was laying in bed this morning listening to a podcast where the presenter likened the use of Ai tools in the making of a film to the use on synthesisers. Actually he went further than that .. “The coming of Ai is just like the coming of synthesisers. Its happening we have to accept it” (that may be paraphrased but that was the gist). The statement was enough to make me want to throw my Ai based “smart” listening device out of the window!
They can write AI to rip off images…
Given the current state of Ai (advanced) and the commonality of the messages, I can only assume that for some reason, the platforms (Facebook and Etsy) are happy to host these scammers. If there were not, I can see no reason at all why these messages would not be delivered
