Tuesday afternoon last week, during a train journey to London where I was scheduled to photograph arrivals at a gala screening of All of us strangers I received a WhatsApp message.

Seeing as I don't really walk that far on these mornings, it's a little tricky not to be repetitive. Today, with the sky & tide as it was, I decided on trying for a shot that featured the low sun, a breaking wave and a groyne.

As I walked along the seafront just before the first sunrise of 2024, I looked up at the moon, thought about the film and it made me smile. It is just a constant we take for granted, having its every day impact on us and the seas. So I raised my camera to take a snap.

2023 Round Up Pt.2 : Music

I do not photograph as much music as I use to. That said, I did cover a few events that I wanted to, including Peter Gabriel (I had not seen him for years and my son was one of the technical team), Glastonbury and The Boss.
