In March 2025, I served as the house photographer for the inaugural London Soundtrack Festival, covering diverse events including concerts and panel discussions. Equipped with various lenses and camera bodies, I captured performances by notable artists. Unleashing my inner Gru…
As I walked along the seafront just before the first sunrise of 2024, I looked up at the moon, thought about the film and it made me smile. It is just a constant we take for granted, having its every day impact on us and the seas. So I raised my camera to take a snap.

Although the cameras built into phones are quite brilliant and clever, as soon as you look at the images large on a calibrated photo monitor it becomes obvious how limited they are. ... Crouching down, I waited with the 14mm on the X-T3 which was set to underexpose using the Velvia film simulation to bring out the colours.
