With the release of “Michael”, the biopic of the MJ opening this week, I thought I would drop a quick archive gallery of the shrine that popped up near to Leicester Square the days after he passed.
These were all photographed on a Nikon D700 on the 29th June, 2009 (and posted as originally edited and published in London papers).
A few months later, I was lucky enough to spend a few days in company of John Landis, director of Thriller and I managed to talk him into posing for this image with Michael on the Empire’s huge screen behind him. (This shot is a blog post in itself). Later that night I sat next to John as he presented his version of The Making of Thriller, getting a full directors commentary in my right ear.

Quite a day that was !
Have a thrilling weekend
